Cooking – when the worst learn from the best

How to improve your cooking skills? Or better yet, how do others do it? How are cooking-challenged people mentored in order to turn them into good or maybe even great chefs? You can see it all when Worst Cooks In America returns on February 17th 2013 on Food Network.

Worst Cooks in America is a reality TV series that shows you how kitchen zeroes are magically transformed into kitchen heroes. With celebrity chefs Anne Burrell and Bobby Flay each trying to guide their team to victory, what can go wrong?

Well, okay, possibly a lot, but it’s the thought that counts and one thing can be said for sure – viewers can expect to see the cooking-challenged transformation into cooking-wizards live on air. All the recruits who are competing against each other in two teams have been selected based on their rather embarrassing cooking skills, based on the nominations by their friends and family.

During the seven-episode long season viewers can expect to create meals from the groceries their mentors found from the recruits homes, compete with their classic meat and potato meal, take part of the fresh fish challenge and much more.

The Worst Cooks In America season finale airs on Sunday, March 31st at 9pm ET/PT. That’s when the two remaining finalists have to cook for the panel of judges. Their task is to prepare a three-course meal. And the winner, well, the winner will be handed $25 000 as the grand prize.
