John is right, you won’t get those normally dry eggs, they are still runny. Just follow Chief John’s recipe and you get a nice soft cooked egg every time.

@prettyboysweet Capitalizing and putting a million punctuation marks isn’t going to help you get noticed. It makes everything harder to read.

i’m not crazy with hard boiled eggs, when my teacher offered the class hard boiled eggs i thought i was gonna gag. lol

  15. WESTJET101 Says:

@prettyboysweet Its the slow heating of the water that cooks them slowly. If you boil the water, The thermal shocks would break the eggs. Get with the program.

UHH ANYONE CARE TO TELL ME HOW U GET HARDBOILED EGGS WITHOUT BOILING THE WATER?????????????????? HE SAYS TURN THE HEAT OFF AS SOON AS IT STARTS SIMMERING AND BEFORE IT COMES TO A BOIL… SO IF I TURN THE HEAT OFF, THE WATER ISNT GOING TO CONTINUE TO BOIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ISNT IT AMAZING HOW HE TURNS OFF THE HEAT BEFORE IT EVEN STARS TO BOIL, COMES BACK 17 MINUTES LATER N THE WATER IS STILL BOILING?????? HELLO!!!!!!! FRICKEN RETARD!!!!

Beware! I followed this guy’s advice word for word, but unfortunately, at the end of 17 minutes I was left with six completely runny eggs. I’m sticking with the way my mom taught me when I was a kid.

hey chef you ever tried having boiling water dump the egg in the water cook the egg for 5 minutes the most but the trick is the bottom of the egg witch is the flatter section of the egg, with a pin punch a tiny hole before dropping them in the hot boiling water

  20. Anon1696 Says:

I followed these steps exactly and ended up with awesome hard boiled eggs.
