I hate mexican food, but I love? this dish. just the cheese

  • hilahcooking

Sorry, just saw this. Any kind of cheese that melts good will work – monterrey jack is common. You could probably freeze the peppers stuffed with cheese, then thaw and batter and fry when you’re ready. Or even just freeze the roasted? peppers on their own. Don’t try freezing them battered, though.

Thank you so much for this recipe, Hilah. I’ve never watched any of your? videos but I googled ‘Chiles Rellenos’ and found this video. Awesome work! I made these following your recipe and they were so tasty (I suck at cooking, too, but how hard is it with a guideline?). I shared this video with a lot of friends (I only have three friends).

All jokes aside, though, (I really only have three friends) this recipe is great and thanks so much for sharing. Great Job!

You can, but you’ll definitely want to remove the seeds because they can be bitter. My friend and her mom taught me how to make this? so I think about them when I make it now. Thanks for subscribing!
