if you put olive oil on? your hands before you start messing with the peppers the olive oil protects your hands from the heat. Its a trick I learned from canning salsa :”)

Sorry, just saw this. Any kind of cheese that melts good will work – monterrey jack is common. You could probably freeze the peppers stuffed with cheese, then thaw and batter and fry when you’re ready. Or even just freeze the roasted? peppers on their own. Don’t try freezing them battered, though.

I have used everything from Mozza to Colby Jack cheese I think? whatever you like is best. I don’t think they would freeze very well though.

Ok so like everytime i go to a mexican joint I go hog wild on these things.I just got some poblanos seeds from E-bay and im gonna have some Rellenos cooking partys if you will. So two questions.What? kind of cheese is the most commonly used,and can these be cooked in bulk then frozen to enjoy later.

I made these following your recipe and they were so tasty (I suck at cooking, too, but how hard is it with a guideline?). I shared this video with a lot of friends (I only have three friends).

You can, but you’ll definitely want to remove the seeds because they can be bitter. My friend and her mom taught me how to make this? so I think about them when I make it now. Thanks for subscribing!
