How To Make Peach Cobbler

Posted on 09 September 2012 by admin

My mom’s famous Peach Cobbler recipe! The best peach cobbler! Please subscribe at youtube.com More info at hilahcooking.com INGREDIENTS 2 cups fruit (sliced peaches, plums, or other stone fruit, whole berries, or a mix of fruits) 1 cup sugar 1/2 stick butter (or a whole stick like mama does) 3/4 cup flour 3/4 cup sugar (can be reduced to 1/2 cup) 3/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon baking powder PEACH COBBLER RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS Mix the fruit with 1/4 cup sugar and let it sit while you get the other stuff ready. Turn the oven to 350 degrees F and put the butter in a two-quart baking dish. Put the dish in the oven while it’s preheating to melt the butter. Mix dry ingredients and add milk. Stir. It might be lumpy. That’s okay. When the butter is melted, take the pan out and pour in the batter. Spoon the fruit and its juice on top. Bake for 45-50 minutes. EAT IT.

It’s kind of like a clafouti minus the egg and with less fruit. It sounds delicious, but it’s not really a? cobbler by? definition.

A few alterations though: I used two peaches & one nectarine, macerated them in honey? with about 1/2 tsp cinnamon and added about 1/2 tsp or so of vanilla extract to the batter and this shizz is kickin mad scraps!! Thanks for being so friggin awesome and always making killer grub!!! : )

I’m sorry to sound awfully rude, but the bleach blond hair and dark roots distracted me the whole entire time!?

1/4 cup with the fruit and 1/2-3/4 cup in the batter depending on how sweet you want it. I usually? just use 1/2 cup in the batter, especially if the fruit is sweet on its own.
