Steamed rice with Sausages

Long-grained rice 250 gms.
Water 2 cups.
Chicken sausages 2 nos.
Salt As required

Wash the rice 2-3 times and soak the rice in a bowl of water for ½ an hour. Put the chicken sausages in the rice and cover the bowl. Put the rice bowl in a saucepan of boiling water with salt to taste. Steam for 40 mins and serve hot.
