Hey Steve if you like margaritas try this recipe its a little expensive for a party but it will be the best one you’ve ever had…

    Ultimate Margarita recipe:

    1 1/2 oz Patron Silver
    3/4 oz Cointreau
    1 oz fresh lime juice
    1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
    Dash simple syrup

Salt the rim of a highball glass if desired using lime juice and wipe off the salt on the inside of the glass. Shake well with ICE and strain over ice in the glass. Finally, float 1/4 oz Grand Marnier on top and ENJOY!

That was great! The fresh juice makes a HUGE difference! One quick serious question, though. I suppose other comment-leavers could answer too, but I’m interested to hear from you, Steve: Why strain over new ice, and never just pour the original mixture w/ old ice??? I’m looking for as technical an answer as someone can provide. “It just tastes better!” won’t cut it. Thanks Steve! oh and yeah, next time use one of those red plastic cups as an ice scoop 😉

    thanks Steve-
I have some people coming over in about 15 minutes and your video was much more fun to watch than a recipe dot com page. You are easy to watch because you are calm.

Hey. Thanks for the recipe. I’m going to make a batch tonight to serve with some bar b que (recipes available on my YouTube Channel). Good job.

nice job…but simple syrup is one part water to two parts sugar..not equal amounts.

I’m impressed that you are not using commercial sour mix, using a handheld reamer, made homemade simple syrup, and you have all your products together. Excellent!

The negative: Digging into the ice with your hands, using an amateur shaker, and using a frat house college cup.

Thanks, bud; I’ve heard what goes into a marguarita, before, but I never remember. Your video was good and clear and probably seeing you make it will help me remember how to do it.
